Never assume that a planet requires our planet's properties to sustain life. Alien lifeforms may not require the same properties that life requires on our planet. Even here, we continue to be amazed at finding life where it was believed that none could exist or survive.

It should have water and must receive sunlight for sure. Never mind the oxygen yet. Just like when Earth first started, I dont think there was any oxygen. The first few prokaryotes lived in anaerobic conditions and gave out oxygen during photosynthesis. That makes oxygen not vital in the begining.

In order to support human life the atmospheric levels must be in balance.Any impurity will quicken earth's death.The seven levels must be pure in order to sustain descent life.
