It will continue to itch as long as your pregnant. Your skin is stretching. There is a lotion called Eucerin, it is a little expensive but it works. Also, when you take a shower, try to keep it as cool as possible. Hot water dries your skin and makes it itch. When you dry off after your shower or bath, pat your skin dry rather than rubbing all over with your towel. I have had 5 beautiful children and I know this helps from experience. I hope this helps you, and I hope you have a healthy beautiful baby.

I had a itchy belly with my daughter and as soon as she was born it stopped. Then with my son I had the same but it gradually got worse in later pregnancy until I was severely itchy all over belly, legs, feet, lower back and it turned out I had coleostasis, again the itching stopped pretty much straight after delivery. I think aslong as it is slight itching on belly it will go after giving birth, wearing loose fitting tops help and I found E45 cream helped too. Just keep an eye on it.

it probably won't stop until after your given birth, when ur belly goes down, the best way to treat itchy skin during pregnancy is by using plenty of moisturizer and avoiding drying situations (like hot showers or baths). A mild soap can also help prevent the skin from feeling too dry. Some women find a warm bath with soothing products like oatmeal helps relieve itching skin. If you do apply a moisturizer, apply it just after getting out of the bath when your skin is still wet. This will help your skin absorb more moisture and prevent itching much better than if you simply apply moisturizer while your skin is dry.

i dont think it does. The belly keeps growing through out the whole pregnancy which causes the itch. Just try to avoid scratching it. I have a lot of stretch marks due to dry skin and scratching.

Your skin itches because it's stretching. By the end of the pregnancy, you'll be so used to it, you won't even realize it's itching. Just use lotion, cocoa butter works best.

Lol. Make sure you keep some kind of lotion on it. It's going to itch as long as your belly is stretching. But by keeping lotion on it, the itching isn't as noticeable.

Its from the skin stretching, it stops when the stretching stops. Keep lotion on it twice a day, something with cocoa butter, so it can stretch easier.
The more moist the skin is the less it itches.

Congrats and good luck

For me it kind of comes and goes. It was really bad probably weeks 18-28, but after that it hasn't really bothered me. Just keep slathering on the lotion!
37 weeks here!

Well, sorry to say but if it's growing, it's itching.... Keep it well moisturized, and try to rub not scratch. I know it's aggravating, but keep in mind your baby is growing!!! Congrats!!!
