Well mine is a Printer, Scanner and Photocopier, but I only have problems with my Printer which I swear is a female because it always has PMS.
For some examples which just happened before when I was fighting with it:
1. It kept deciding to have paper jams.
2. It made a loud noise at me like a woman screaming.
It's alright, I can handle this thing on my own.
*eyes it*
Lol, it wanted to put this under Psychology too!

My home printer is good, but....... The one at work is another story. I thought I was the only one. How is it that a printer of all things can make me so incredibly angry. The incredible ammount of paper jams, the horrible noises, and the sense that it just wants to mess with you. I've wanted so many times to have that printer all to myself, and have a sledge hammer........ Kind of like the scene from office space, although I think that was a fax machine.

Yes I had a RAGE moment last week with a wire snapping inside the printer and the paper feed jamming.
In my mind i was smashing it with a hammer but I contained the rage and called Dell for a replacement printer (its only 3 months only for fksake!)

Hahaha, you've got a great sense of humor, Peggy. As for advice, hmm... have you thought of avoiding it during those times?
Seriously, you might try switching paper brands. It worked for me once when I had a printer that kept jamming. Talk about high maintenance.
Otherwise, you might have to give it "the speech" and send it on its way.

Sometmes I'll have moments like that with my computer, but not the printer. Oh well, that's what I get for buying this thing from Sam's Club just over a year a go. LOL

I think that our printers may be related somehow!
Mine seems to have a schizophrenic personality disorder!
There are days when it's well-behaved and then there are those other days ... when it needs "counseling" ... with a hammer, I think! Ha!
Do they have rehab for printers? Mine needs to go! :)
If it doesn't get some help ... I may have to "put it down!" LOL

LOL. Yes, i have one of those God-awful contraptions as well. and I agree, the printer often goes crazy once in a while, like it's possessed or something!
Though i have had an issue or two with my scanner. It occasionally, has a mind of it's own as well.
