Many marinas will allow live aboard. Some may be seasonal and only allow during certain months in summer, so, be sure you get all the details and cost, insurance requirements etc.

the great lakes are very popular for live aboards, lake havasu, lake powell, the deltas from San Francisco bay all the way up thru stockton and on into Sacramento are all really popular areas in the U.S.

yes some in Florida just pay for the doc space an enjoy
