Don't worry, it will go away in a few days. If you do it again, make sure you only shave in the direction the hair is growing. When you shave your legs you can shave upwards because the hair is finer, but with your bikini line the hair is coarser and the skin more sensitive so only shave downwards. Leave it for a couple of weeks at least before you shave again. I'm not sure I'd put any cream on it, they often contain alcohol and other chemical substances which could make the irritation worse, so you may just have to wait it out, although tea tree or lavender essential oil might also help. Wear cotton underwear and loose-fitting trousers too because if you sweat it could also become worse.

It sounds as if you have a shaving rash what did you use to do it with some creams can aggrivate your delicate bits so if you used your dad's shaving cream that will sting like hell and make you very sore. You need a proper lady shaving cream and razors.
Sudocream is a very good cream however it is also very thick and can clog down below so buy some savalon or vasaline it will feel a lot better in a day or too.
If you continue to itch you may have an infection like thrush caused by soaps you used and you can buy caniston cream from chemist for that.

Ok well sudocrem is a cream used on babies bottoms and things so you shouldn't have a problem with that, its made for delicate skin and delicate places lol
I probably wouldn't suggest shaving again, or for a while anyway so just trim down there to keep it tidy
Good Luck

You have the rash because of the shaving. Don't do that!!! It'll go away, just give it a few days. It's going to itch like hell when the hair grows back!

No doubt your Mum will have had the same problem when she was younger, we can talk to you on answers but your Mum is there 24 hours a day to support you, try to pluck up the courage to talk to her I am sure she will not be as shocked and angry as you expect! I am a Mum and a Grandma and would rather my two girls talked to me other than seeking the help of strangers.
Good luck I hope you get sorted soon.

use corn starch, it's the old fashioned remedy that people used to use for rashes, and it really works very quickly. It's also very inexpensive usually less than a dollar for a box, you can find it baking aisle of your grocery store (flour, sugar, cake mixes, that kind of stuff.)

You could try Sudocream, but be careful - I'm highly allergic to something in it, and you could be too if you haven't used it before and thats a place you don't want a nasty allergic reaction! It also sounds as though you may have thrush? Have you had antibiotics recently?
