They are ok, but I find that they run out quicker, and the quality isn't that great. But not all the time, and if the difference is paying either £5 or £25, then definitely go for the cheaper one I would say.. use the cartridge refill shops instead of buying new ones aswell if you don't already.

Cheaper inks will probably give slightly different colours in photos and will fade sooner. Also if the cartridge is underfilled and runs dry unexpectedly the print head may fail. I've gone through 2 epsons using non epson inks

i would go for the cheaper ink, if it knackers up the jets then buy a new printer, you will buy one for the same price as the refills, its the peripherals like the ink that they make the money on, and they are conning you as well, because when it tells you that your ink is running out . ..it isnt, its the software kicking in to get you to buy more ink, you can get programs that will override these cons and will make sure you use all the ink in the cartridge . . not replacing a perfectly good half full one

I used cheap ink in my printer a few times, I find it makes the print heads clog up quicker.

Cheap inks tend to wreck the printer to be honest!
