No, I will not have my right to vote taken away from me ! Why do you think that because of the Democrats we will not be able to vote? You sound like you are on a Fox News overload! President Bush is not running. I know several people who have lost faith is the Republican party. Their eyes have been opened! I have a feeling that Hillary Clinton just may be the next President. I know several men who will vote for her. If she is voted into the White House I will accept that just like I had to accept George W. Bush.

No, that fact has not been lost on us. However, many of the policies, Executive Orders, memorandums, proclamations, etc. will remain in effect until repealed, rescinded or appealed. So, the question to you then is do you want that power in someone else's hands? From the tone of your question, I'm guessing you wouldn't like all that power in the hands of a Democrat, right?
For example... In May 2007, Bush signed the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive (NSPD 51/HSPD-20).
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/05/20070509-12.html
Unlike the National Emergency Act that sets up congress as a balance, the new directive:
1. does not contain any provisions allowing for congressional approval or oversight.
2. creates the new position of National Continuity Coordinator without Congress approval
3. negates any requirement that the president submit proof of the existence of a National Emergency to Congress

That's way too much raw power in place for any president, Democrat or Republican, to (mis)use. It's much like the lid being opened on Pandora's box and the ones that we need to close the lid are the very ones that have the most power to gain by leaving it open. We need a president and Congress that will commit to cleaning up this mess, but this issue is too 'hot' to be a 'hot button' issue in any campaigns... consider YOUR vote very carefully!

Bush is often the catchall when folk are talking about the entire Gang Of Pirates. I usually talk about the entire GOP, as it includes almost all the Republican Party and even a couple of Democrats.
As well even If Bush steps down in 2009 the entire Gang of Pirates will still hold the Republican party, the majority of Judges, and much of the Government to the lowest levels, they will continue to ruin American lives for generations without a major application of the RICO statutes.
You add that perhaps the Gang Of Pirates don't actually act like a gang or pirates. You think Mediamatters doesn't know the whole story when the head of it WAS one of the Gang Of Pirates till it got so awful he could no longer stomach what they did?
Perhaps you should look at some of the Links posted below

This hatred has nothing to do with his policies. It is petty payback for the Impeachment of President Clinton and the close run between Al Gore and the current President. After President Bush took office those who voted for Al Gore began the campaign to denounce everything he has done. Personally if all the things they have blamed him for were tallied up it would appear that the Executive Branch is the only responsible branch of government. The Legislative and Judicial have no power is absurd. No one man in government could be that responsible without the consent of the others.

Bush should be in prison to be sure, but I have much the same hatred for all of the Republicans and the majority of the Democrats. Both parties represent the interests of the super-rich and those interests are diametrically opposite to the interests of the underclass. The super-rich want imperialist war, the offshoring of jobs, tax cuts for themselves combined with cuts in social programs for the underclass, etc. . .

Yes, people do HATE a corrupt President, but you find that odd....how strange.
We either support the criminal behavior of the Bush/Cheney regime or we do not. The accountability door cannot swing both ways much longer without falling off. History will judge the United States harshly on the war in Iraq. It will judge us, the people, for making it possible.
FYI...I reject both dominate political parties.
