Well that is pretty amazing. Depression is a mental illness that effects you not only mentally but physically as well. Depression is usually diagnosed by a health professional. Are you sure all these people were experiencing depression. It may have been a period of sadness - that is common among everybody. However depression is not as common as you might think.

I have had clinical depression for 7 years/
I don't think that the word depression is used correctly.
Depression is not just feeling down or blue.
Depression is a deep, dark place that has no other way out other than wanting to die!
It gives me the ****.s that some people trivialise this condition!

It's a normal part of the human condition. For anyone to say they have never experienced depression is egotistical and arrogant. These people are afraid to say they have had fear of any kind in an effort to make them appear impressive above their peers.

We all experience different levels of depression wether its just being quite unhappy for some time or wether its being so unhappy you just want to 'go away'
I feel sad sometimes but when I was younger I just felt so sad with everything that went on that I didnt know what to do.
Now I just remember that if I dont get myself through it who will. My friends are often saying to me they dont know how I deal with things biut I have good support from My partner.
Last week my Auntie died form Alzheimers, another auntie died 3 days later from Cancer, My uncles Gf miscarried (3rd one for him now) and my cat was ran over!
Oh yeah I almost scalded my 9 yr old sister with the kettle aswel the day of one of the funerals! aaarrrggghhh
But hey they all went through it Im just at the end of the spectrum! Just keep Smiling and remember that everyone else is sad too.
I have no right to be more sad than anyone else so...
happy thoughts everyone!!

It's not surprising with the amount of abusers and selfish people there are in this world but you have to concentrate on the good people because it's them that are important.
