Actually, I have done that a number of times. I like to be alone sometimes, and for extended periods of time, too. Through life I have been through a few relationships and find that there is a process after a break-up that we go through. So, I would allow myself time to go through that, no matter how long it took, and then get back to "real" life. Not afraid to be alone at all.

I can say that I really don't have too many problems going out alone. I have found that I can go on vacations by myself, the movies, dinner, concerts, etc. But I am like everyone else and still get lonely. I want my boyfriend to be there with me (but he's usually working) and it does make me sad. It's nice to be able to share life with someone else. I'm not afraid but I don't want to be alone.

Yes for sure i need someone to talk to in life more than a family or friend lol and its not so much about sex but just more to cuddle and talk and to know that he is there for me lol i sound sad but it is true, i would love to be loved unconditionally and have a special romance in my life i dont wan to be alone i would love to grow up and have a family and that sort of thing.

Dont get me wrong i love my own company to, sometimes i get lonely though.

NO, I am NOT afraid to be alone. IF I ever were to be lonely, I know I can always pick up a phone, or jump in my car & be w/any one of my 3 children. They are enough to fill any emptiness I could ever feel. After living w/husbands who caused me nothing but problems, I welcome the silence & FREEDOM of being on my own, coming & going as I please & NOT having anyone to have to answer to. I am content to be alone. I know I ALWAYS have the Lord w/me regardless of where I am or what I'm doing, & have Him to "talk" to & be a comfort IF I should ever need someone w/me. There's always TV or the computer which takes up scads of hours in my life. I've found in life, you are what you make it be. So I have the "power" to make it as I feel I want it & that's fine w/me.

There's this one thing that comes to my mind sometimes:

In the future, i've grown old, and am alone in life, on a world i can no longer catch up with or comprehend.

That's why i would like to find a companion, not someone i can have sex with when i'm young, but someone i can sit side by side against a future sunset, and warm my old, aching joints :)

No, not afraid of being alone - what scares the daylight outta me is one day deciding that I am afraid and just being with someone for the sake of not being alone...

I'd rather be alone that with someone I didn't really want to be with, but was based only out of fear.

Sometimes, yes. I know that I am really never alone, but it's human nature to be afraid sometimes, especially if you are like me and have a wild imagination, lol.
