They are taking a break,and was recently(maybe still are) on tour with The Eagles.In an interview with Dixie chicks banjo player Emily Robison she says they are taking a break to be with family.

I hope that it is TRUE. A local radio station htat I listen to every day will not play them and has not played them since that comment. I
