I am not all three as you are but I am white and a proud citizen of the USA and I don't "feel" I am hated by the rest of the world, I KNOW I am hated by the rest of the world.

All I have ever done to "hurt" anyone is work and pay taxes so the feds can send money to help them when they have earthquakes or tsunamis or whatever.

I hate nobody based upon race or ethnic group but few want to talk about USA Citizens being hated.

Good question, you get a star.

i live in the south so ya, i get that all the time for being white. like i'm some kind of slave owner or something. it seems alot of black people down south practice what's known as reverse racism. you can't even sneeze around here without being accused of being racist. but at the same time, i hear black people all over the place saying cracker this and cracker that. every other word out of their mouths is "cracka" and "*****". i guess i'm just supposed to type "n-word" though instead of "*****" though cuz i'm white. they can do this because they're immune to being called racist. everyone knows that only white people are racist. maybe everyone should come visit the south and see what's really up with the whole race thing down here. i think most of you will wanna throw up.

I think it's easy to hate us as a group..white, American, Marine etc. I don't feel at all hated as an individual who knows people of color but I sure hate the image I have as an American to people abroad who don't even know me. (us)

I don't know that I would describe it as hatred. I sometimes think there is an element of envy, which comes across negatively. Being a marine, you may feel it more strongly. I am grateful for what I am and what country I live in. I guess I can only have empathy for those that want we have. It is the ones that ALREADY have what we have (the white Americans) showing so much negativity that really irks me! Thank you for serving our country.

I hate no one. Maybe hate is true strong a word for what you really feel. Disappointment in the way the world is going. you have a tough job to do and you have had to sacrifice a lot to do your job. I'm sure you feel us non military people do not appreciate what you have given up and that we don't appreciate what do. Well I for one do. The world we live in right now is scary and ugly. But I know that men and women like you, make it safer for me and my family.
I'm sure you see people getting on with their lives and you seem to be just doing what you signed up to do. It doesn't seem fair, and lord knows the pay sucks.
Remember that most of us out here see what you do, and know with out you we'd be screwed.
Love and peace

Depends on the place. Most places in the non white world like white men. The ones that do not are perhaps, maybe Thailand,
Korea, Zimbabwe, and non-white sections in the USA and UK, and other non White areas in Anglo countries.

Where did you go so that you experienced such hatred?

YES. Especially being American.

No, I don't. I think there are racists/bigots/jerks in every ethnic and racial group, and sometimes you just run into them a little too much and a little too often.

You can either focus on the bad, or you can be grateful for those rays of sunshine you run into, now and then.

The option is yours.

No. We're the other white meat.

Seriously, your feelings are situation based. In some situations, you are hated. Sometimes because you're white, sometimes because you're American, sometimes because you're a Marine, and sometimes because you're all three.

THANKS for serving, by the way!!!!

Other times, you are LOVED because you're all three. You have to take the bad with the good.

Without writing a novel here, I will conclude that if someone hates you, it is THEIR problem, not yours. Focus on how you feel about yourself and don't worry about what others think.

I served for 14 years. I'm as white as they come (red head). I know where you're coming from. Hang in there!!!

And thanks again for serving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a hero!
