Because unfairness doesn't suit anybody. When it comes to self and a particular outcome suits us,we call that a fair and unsuitable one as unfair.Humans understand it but don't want to admit /accept it.

Because the world is exactly as we make it. Believing there is no fairness causes unfairness. Believing in fairness and treating your fellow human beings well creates fairness. If we all treated each other well there would be no unfairness as there would be no-one treating anyone unfairly.
We have a hard time grasping this simple premise because it assumes that people are basically not very nice, which I don't think is true.

Because we are made in the image of God. It tells us this in the Bible so God is fair and just, good at all times. So if we are made to be like him then even though sin has entered into this world and has made things very unfair indeed, then because Jesus dies for our sins. Jesus gave his life and shed his blood so that we can be made clean though is blood. All we have to do is ask him to help us and he will. Give him time and he will come to you when he is ready and knows that you are ready also. This world is satans world right now even though God can take it back whenever he chooses in the meantime, things will be unfair. satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. This is what it tells us in the Bible. Thank you and God Bless you.

it is the difference in believing in justice or believing in blind justice....there is no fair but that is a matter of perspective...what may be fair for one may deprive another of a place to live or adequacy of food...what may appear to be a lack of water to one may mean that there will be enough water twenty five miles away that will irrigate crops to feed a populace...so tell me what is fair....or not fair in your world...

I strongly disagree with you. For a start try it for yourself in your everyday life. Fairness is alive.
