I don't know how someone can possibly fall in love without spending actual time, in person, with them. Your "friend" only knows what the guy on the other end tells her. His actual life and personality could be totally different than how he presents himself online. Online, I could be a friggin lawyer, a model, an architect...anything I'd want to be. I could be a millionaire if I wanted online. Until your "friend" has met this person and spent actual time with them, they should hold onto those 3 little words. Make sure she is not falling in love with who he is online, which could be a totally different person than who he is every day in reality. I'm not saying that this guy isn't who or what he claims to be because he very well could be. But he could very well NOT be who he says he is, too. She should be very cautious. If he lives across the Atlantic, perhaps one of them needs to get on a plane and go visit. I would insist that the guy come here. Its far safer than an unsuspecting woman flying off to London to meet some bloke she met "online". I know people have met over the Internet and fallen in love and lived happily ever after. But, she needs to keep her head out of the clouds and be careful about this. Use some common sense and some caution is all I'm saying...

Hi Mojo, I guess sort of it happen to me I think. One person seem nice and then he looked at my profile and what I had written about having a true soul mate and he email me about 3 different times and then just stopped. I love to make friends
and have fun on Answers.Sorry to say, My Soul Mate has been along for to many years we are true soulmates but he can't live with anyone not even me. But we both know we will always care for each other and keep in contact always.Sorry for this longggg Explaining but it happen.

Of course, you can be. Infatuation is just that, and doesn't need physical meeting.
The only thing I'd caution is that it's like meeting someone in a bar...sometimes you find the real thing, and other times all you find is a charming drunk.
