Yes, and our reception was held at the brides parents house. Friends and family brought food and drink, and we all had a great time.

I think if its your first wedding, most people like to marry in a church, unless its against their religion. And if your getting married for the second time, they usually dont have it in a church again, but more like a special room in a hotel or something :)

Yes--on a hot August day in a church without air conditioning, selected as the venue because the carpet matched the bridesmaids' dresses. It was about 105 in there.
