Why are men outraged when a woman marry a younger man?

My beautician married a man 10 years younger than herself. They are together for 7 years, and are happy.
When she married, there was such an opposition from all the male part concern - relatives, friends, co-workers. They seemed to be enraged.
I do not understand why. Men marry much younger women than they all the time. They say that as the time goes, the age gape will feel smaller. Then, as the time goes, the age gape between this woman and her husband will be smaller as well, won't it?
Why, just the other day my friend got hit on by a man who stated that he was "only 21 years older" than she and that she was too "old" for him!

Men feel insecure by nature, more insecure than women-- it's true. Age is not a factor, really. I don't think young women, like 18 or 21 should marry someone older by 10+ years, but it usually doesn't work out anyway.
An older woman marrying a younger man.. I know men do it all the time, but again, is it good for the younger person to be held down by a much older person.
I think people should be closer in age. My husband and I are like 6 years apart-- he's older than me. This seems to work.
This issue is really related to the individual in question. It's a matter of opinion.

I am with a man 20 years younger. I didn't plan to fall in love with him and it was not because of the age difference. We get along well and he has a child by another union, so children are not an issue. I'm not sure what the big deal is. I have been with a man my age, one 28 years older than me, and now one 20 years younger. My guy and I fit. We get along well, have the same intrests and are very happy. He is well aware that I will have health issues and may die way before him, we talk often about what will happen, he wants to be with me until the end no matter what. I could not ask for more from any one. So let stupid people say what they will. Love is love no mater what.

I as a white British citizen am incensed that these Pakistani boys are allowed to do such a thing. It has been PROVEN that these gangs(and many of them) deliberately go around grooming really young English girls and it is still going on. These people have their own culture and live as if they are in Pakistan. They are British by nationality only, they are NOT English. That's just a fact. The idiot who said that white sex offenders outnumber Pakistanis by a mile, is just that an IDIOT! Of course there are more white sex offenders than Pakistanis or Indians because there are 10 Whites to every Asian in the population in England. It is the proportion of Pakistani/Asian sex offenders that far outnumbers that of the English population which is the issue. These people have their own areas where they run riot. They prey on White victims in their own Asian areas. There are very few whites to be witnesses to these acts or to report them. So these animals have a field day. It is disgusting and Straw hit the nail on the head, these people are predators of easy victims.

Men don't like that women are doing what men have done for years now. Men want younger women and women want men that are in they're sexual prime to keep up. That is what I think. Personally I can't stand dating someone younger than me, its kind of disturbing.
