i would like to go to college to learn a new skill, because i want to make a career change but i am 31. am i too old? wil they not take me?

your never too old to make a life changing career i did it this year didn't know what i would feel when i got there being the only mature student on my course but i tell you some thing I'm loving every minute of it even tho its hard work if i was you id give it a try you will never know if it will work if you don't and there is all sorts of support out there for you contact you local college and ask to speak to the career adviser they are very helpful and can point you in the right direction

You are certainly not too old, and at least in the USA, colleges would welcome people of all ages. As you mention a career change, you might want to look into going to a community college as those institutions do a lot of that sort of training. Good luck.
