I would have to say for me it's easier to forget someone's shortcomings because I always remember acts of kindness

I try not to forget either but I would have to admit that it is easier to forget a kindness than a shortcoming because shortcomings repeat themselves where as kindness are more likely to be a once in a life time thing.

My acts of kindness have been forgotten by some but... enough of my whinging.

I forget people's minor shortcomings.

It's hard to forget either because both can make such large statements. Acts of kindness could hide ill intentions. Certain shortcomings can be overseen, others unacceptable.

Most shortcomings are short lived, as people try to correct them, whereas acts of kindness are occurring every moment.

I try not to see short comings in anyone. I try to see their strengths rather than their weaknesses and I forget no act of kindness.

it's not that it is easier to forget but i'd rather accept their short comings, i don't want to ever forget acts of kindness, they are too precious.
