I think I might have been on the computer too long or something. My neck CAN move to the right and back but it's like stopped with a wall of pain (lol- poetry in motion). I've put some cream on it and went to have a nap, I woke up like 3 hours later but it still hurts- any suggestions?

The problem could be caused by misaligned vertebra in your neck. When they move out of place (subluxation), they can cause pain and discomfort. The body will try to realign the vertebra itself, but sometimes it is unable to do so. It uses the various neck muscles to do this, which is why you feel stiff muscles in your neck and the limited range of motion. A Chiropractor can gently adjust the misaligned vertebra and allow the body to return them to their normal position.

Run, don't walk, to a phone and call your favorite chiropractor.

He/she will work on your neck every 3 days or so until your range of motion is restored without pain.

It should take about 2 weeks and you'll feel fine.

Put your computer at a better angle, or you'll put the crink right back in your neck.
