Well if I wanted to join a club and they said I had to take off my shoes and socks as my initiation then they need only blink and my feet would be bare. If there was a length of time I had to be barefoot, say a month I still would do it cos I like going barefoot and am trying to do it more often. If I wanted to join the club and they told me to go barefoot for a month as an initiation I would hand them all my shoes and socks in a box to ensure that I did. So I think it is fair.

I love going barefoot, but I think initiations are silly and childish. I don't think I would join any club that had such a requirement, no matter if it was something very easy.
