I would love it. I like having bare feet and this would allow me to go barefoot more often outside.

Here in the Netherlands, bare feet *are* allowed everywhere apart from truly risky places like hardhat areas (where hardhats & safety boots are required, and which are usually off-limits to all unauthorized people anyhow no matter what you're wearing).
Even in the US, in spite of persistent myths, there are NO health laws against bare feet, and insurance companies don't require or even recommend footwear for customers. Unfortunately some stores do have signs requiring footwear, and yes I would like to see those removed. Especially when they claim their requirement is based on *FALSE* health laws or insurance policies; that's just unethical business practice. Really there is no harm in going barefoot; feet get very tough very quickly, our skin is made to keep pathogens out, and feet are fully washable. Even athlete's foot isn't common in populations that more regularly go barefoot; it's not called *athlete's* foot for nothing.. it spreads by people going briefly barefoot in a locker room but the spores need a dark, damp, warm environment of the shoe to grow and get a hold. On the bare skin it dries up and dies.

I would. I love being barefoot and see no reason to wear shoes as long as it is safe to do so. We should be allowed to go shopping barefoot.... it would do no harm.

No, I love to go barefoot but the thought of walking in a store without shoes, NO. Sorry but I could not walk in public places without my shoes.
