how do you rearrange the formula: 2y+x-4=0, to make y the subject?

2y + x - 4 = 0 add 4 to each side:

2y + x = 4 Take x from each side:

2y = 4 - x divide each side by 2:

y = (4 - x)/2, or y = 2 - x/2

2y+x-4=0
so,
2y=4-x
y=(-x+4)/2
that's the answer.
y=(-x+4) divide by 2.
