i have/had that bad too! i went to a female doctor and she said to do a swab and then she sent it off to test for anything, it came back normal so she prescribed "Clotrimazole Cream" which you put all around 'down there' lol twice a day for a week or longer, and it worked when i get itchy i put that on and it doesnt take long, it goes. the best thing to do is to go and see a female doctor and get her to prescribed you it, not just buy it. :) hope its better soon, i know what its like!! xx
ps. the doctor said its probably just my hormones racing about inside me!! and i still get it now but more so when im 'on'!!

Might be thrush.

Thrush is a yeast infection can get rather uncomforable. Like itchy and sore.

to get rid of it.. got the chemist and say you want sumthing called "canasten" with a applicater. It will get rid of the infection.

To prevent it have a shallow bath with a cup of natural apple cider vinigar. Buy it froma health food store. Do this about once a week. Sit in there for around 15 mins washing the area.

Thrush can be caused by many things. Such as washing the pubic area with soup etc. Diet... rubbing of condoms.. lubricant. many things.

Try eating yougurt.. it have a bactiria in that kills yeast.

if anyof this stuff doesnt clear it up. I sugest you see a docter

good luck

Several things could cause itching in your vaginal area, such as:

1.) Yeast Infection
2.) Bacterial Vaginosis
3.) Pubic Lice
4.) Contact Dermatitis (Changing your laundry detergent, using bubble baths, etc. can all irritate the sensitive skin down there.)
5.) Shaving Public Hair (when it grows back it tends to get a bit itchy - but this isn't probably the case since you have a lot...)

See your gyno and tell him/her.

Whatever you do, DON'T shave your pubis girl ! Disregard all these answers from girls telling you that. THAT is not the answer ; it's just a crazy fad for the times. Your vulva is BEAUTIFUL if you have lots of hair on it ! And it is NO less hygienic! Ask any nurse & you'll be told many reasons to leave your pubic hair alone ! Nature wouldn't have given it to you if there wasn't good reason for it. Rubbing alcohol many times eradicates itches.

If you have LOTS of pubic hair, that can be very itchy! Try cutting it down with scissors, and then giving that beast a clean shave. You will notice a big difference. It's just hygenic to keep it clean down there. You'll see.

Could be anything from a yeast infection to crotch cricketts!
Not meaning to be rude, but you gotta get close and look..if the itch is on the otside..maybe just an allergy to soap you use or someting but if on the inside (which can be maddening) you need o see a Dr.

That is probably the most likely reason your itching. It could also have something to do with your periods, or ya might have an infection. Maybe consider shaving or waxing down there. :) Good luck!

Could be related to a yeast infection but the only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

Maybe its from the hair that is making it itchy. Maybe get a wax or shave or something =]

That should stop the itching, otherwise I don't know why it is.
