It's not real easy to get out of a subpeona. I'd suggest you go, testify, and put him away. Then get a gun, learn how to use it, and start carrying it.

Appearing as a witness is very vital to any criminal case. Being a witness you are the only key that may expedite the solution to the case. Would your guilt or conscience allow it if you will not appear as a case. Will you be putting yourself in danger? These are some of the questions boggling your mind. I believe you must follow your conscience. Think the most and right decision you will make it.

If you wanted to be a witness. Allow yourself to be a witness under a witness protection program. I believe some government has this program to get a security protection from them especially if you are a star witness to the crime. Am sure the government is compelled to give you such protection being a vital witness to the crime.

If you opt not to be a witness, then you will forever remain free but not your conscience. So think about it my friend.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

Get an attorney to address this for you. They have a responsibility to protect you if they want you to appear to the point of obtaining a new identity.

More than likely they won't throw you in jail -- but if they bring you into court, you have the right to speak up directly to the judge prior to presenting your testimony.

Get an attorney.

If you go, you could put the person in jail, and you may be in danger. Ask the police to help you out.

If you don't, you'll be fine. But you might let a guilty person be declared innocent, possibly harming others.

It's your choice.
