Vista seems to be loaded with bugs...go to MSN, go to down load site and get latest fixes downloads ..install and see if that helps...otherwise, you have a serious conflict with some program that is running in background. From what I have seen, Vista is another Windows ME...a distaster waiting to happen. I had more problems with ME...ended up going back to Win 2000, a very stable program...I have had no problems with Win XP after installing all the patches requried for security. Vista has some advantages to gamers only..as for day to day use, Internet, business, it is a waste of money and a real problem so far. Goldwing

Go to run
type chkdsk /f

Now restart your computer. This will check your file system for errors, if not, right click on your My Computer, go to manage and check the system log to see what is causing the problem, if there are anything with exclamation mark by it from when the computer BSOD'ed, post the error here
