I just made a model out of blue tac, and i really want to keep it, but its bound to get squashed or pulled apart, so i was wondering could i harden it like clay? Ive tried freezing it, and painting in nail varnis, but they didnt really work tbh.
Thx =D

It might dry out some and become hard enough to resist casual squishing, but I don't think it will ever become rock hard because it has stuff in it to keep it pliable. You might try leaving it out in the sunlight because UV light can cause some things to harden a bit. You could also put it in some kind of protective display.

Your best bet though might be to harden it as much as possible first, then make a mold around it, and cast a permanent "clay" in that hardened mold as a replacement.
Polymer clay can be used to make molds (it's baked in a home oven to harden--Fimo, Premo, Sculpey, etc.), but if the object is too soft to press into even very softened polymer clay, you might want to use a 2-part silicone molding material instead, or actually use a pourable latex-type molding material.
2-part silicone molding material should be available at some craft, art, and hobby stores (or online).
You'd probably be best to ask about the latex type at a hobby store.

i'd individually attempt the magic eraser first. yet an option determination would be to apply a gentle answer of dish detergent (like daybreak, a favorite degreaser). merely practice it to the stain with a dampened fabric.... do not spray it on the wall, or make great swipes with it.. it might desire to depart lighter colored spots interior the paint. you want to be careful approximately using any form of solvent on a painted floor, exceptionally partitions, by way of fact it is going to strip the paint alongside with the stain, heheheh. that's performed... yet you would be able to desire to be careful with it. stable success :)

best thing to do is just leave it in the sun to dry out and leave in a well ventilated area so that the air can also dry it out
