I think it's the most ignorant question some one can ever ask. But I do have an accent. Its bengali, and i love it.

Yes, I would say I do. We phrase words a little differently in Hawaii. Not to mention, occasionally I use pidgin (creole) English when I speak. It depends on the situation and if it's warranted, I'll use pidgin English.
I would love to hear your accent! I'm not sure if I've ever heard someone with a Bengali accent. I might have when I worked at another university with students from all over the world.

Actually I do. It's an American accent. I live in Germany and to hear me speak German, I'm a dead give away of being an outsider. But also you can tell I am southern. My whole family is from Alabama, and although I have never been there, I do have a bit of a southern twang.

I have a Southern accent. When I lived in Iowa for a few years a neighbor made fun of it.

It depends on where I am and who I talk to, to a lot of people I do but to the people who live where I do don't see it as one...so I guess it's an interesting way of looking at it.

Yes, a slight southern accent. Not super strong but it's still there. I tend to talk softly though so whenever my boyfriend(from Boston) can't understand me he says "You're talking southern to me, babe." It always makes me smile. :)
