Are you asking if my avatar and I look at all alike? Hmmm... She has auburn hair that is a bit more copper than my own. I think I gave her blue eyes instead of my dark brown because I wear periwinkle contacts when I go to reenactment events. I'm fair-skinned, but the face is prettier than mine I imagine. She's wearing a lilac gown and carrying a parasol, exactly as I would at one of my events. I gave her a green background because I like the color; and there are shamrocks in honor of my Irish heritage. Out of the picture is a leprechaun to her left.
I suppose that she is a reasonably good representation of me when I consider what animated versions of actors and actresses look like.
Myst Moonstruck is a roleplaying character of mine who is quite popular among my snail mail friends; we call it Alter Egoing. I put the names together because other names I tried were turned down by Yahoo for whatever reason. So, I am MystMoonstruck many places.

I Look Way Better Than My Avatar-I've Been Trying To Put My Real Picture Up But I Don't Know How-Could Someone Show Me How Please? And Yes InDeed A Good Heart Is Way Better Than Physical Appearances. For It Stays The Same-Beauty Ages. Once A Good Heart Is Always A Good Heart.

My avatar look nothing like me. I have light brown skin instead of white. Well I don't really care how u picture me. But as long as u have a good impression on my character, I don't care how u picture me. I agree beauty of the heart is more important than the physical look. If I tell u that I look like aishwarya rai, U have no choice but to believe me or just ignore it. But u can never prove that I am wrong. SO I guess, the avatar for me is what i want people to blindly believe about me, which can be true or false.

In the book, I Samuel, in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, it says "...for man looks on the outward appearance, God looks upon the heart." I avoid being shallow about people. I've known attractive people who were selfish and unkind and in reverse I've know plain looking people who had vivid personalities and good hearts.
My avatar is definitely prettier than I am, not to mention quite a bit younger. Unfortunately they had no 50-something avatars for me to choose for a more realistic match to my personal looks.
I am thankful that my husband, daughters and friends like me for who I am, not for my looks. After living more than 50 years I wouldn't even want to look like my avatar. My personal history shows in my face, life engraves character into features.
When you said "Actually beauty of the heart is more important than the physical looks", I wondered if you really believe that or if you just said it to keep people from writing you angry answers on Y/A.

Hi..
Actually, I tried to get my avatar to try to resemble me as much as possible..The color of the hair, and somewhat of the style, the big eyes, are as much as I could do..That's it..
However, physical looks can't compare to the beauty of the heart..and soul..That in itself, is so special..There's no comparison!
My name on my avatar is, "howdoilvthee"..I thought a lot about choosing this name.. But you know something.. It's Me! It's who I am, and how I think and feel..I can't change that, and won't..Why become something..I'm not?
Enjoy your Sunday everyone..And God Bless!

I imagine you are right....and there is nothing wrong with that.We aren't running a beauty contest here. I tend to believe the individuals project themselves as they saw themselves on the inside or in their prime....did you do the same thing? It's ok......we all have beauty in our soul.....

yes. our avator shows our character because we are making it look like how we like it so, its showing our likes and dislikes. you are right when you said that beauty lies in the heart and i agree. my experience i cant explain it. i mean your heart is where you beauty lies and i know what kind of a person you are and due to that i reason i , i dont know what to say. its more than words could explain.. it is true though. beauty lies in ones heart.

Well, I look nothing like my avatar...I'm younger, smaller, and slightly less weathered...but I like to think the name is accurate.
