Mine was the impromptu wedding between Maria and Anton in "West Side Story", when each boy and girl member of the group would sing the song, while reaching for a flower the girl holds in mid-air. My partner was my crush. We were getting married, if only onstage. And I almost forgot her fiance, whom she was about to marry in a few days, was watching with the audience.

Make of our hands one hand,
Make of our hearts one heart,
Make of our vows one last vow:
Only death will part us now.

MARIA
Make of our lives one life,
Day after day, one life.

BOTH
Now it begins, now we start
One hand, one heart;
Even death won't part us now.

Make of our lives one life,
Day after day, one life.
Now it begins, now we start
One hand, one heart,
Even death won't part us now.

I was a member of our church youth choir for a decade. My most unforgettable experience is when I sang the Latin song "Magnificat anima mea Dominum" ("My soul doth magnify the Lord.") together with my other choirmates. It was Easter Sunday or a.k.a. The "Salubong" and I was one of the angels and have to stand at a high place wearing our angel costume while there's a lot of people watching. When we were singing the firecrackers and smoke effects are just at the back.... near to the place where we were standing. I feel like using my fake angel wings and fly away because we were getting scared that the firecrackers will reach us!! Anyways, we continue singing until it's all over. I got a lot of unforgettable choir experiences. I miss my choir groups! <*-*>

I was a member of a choir group for our church when i was in high school. Just singing in the church every Sunday meant a lot to me so I'd say those were memorable performances =)

We were KATUGA (kain-tulog-gala). The name sounds baduy now, but it was in then. We (3 of us) performed in a school concert, outfitted like the Apo (they were just starting to get hot then (remember I am 51). We pinned lots of medals on our vests (the 3 of us were always in the honors list) because we just saw the Apo wearing vests with medals in a previous gig. We were copycats!
