Moons gravity is about 1/6 Earths (at the surface)
Suns gravity is about 28 times that of the Earths (at the top of the photosphere)

well for the nutcase that said that the gravity on the moon and on the sun are the same he is awfully wrong.The gravity on the moon is about 1/6 the force of the gravity on Earth.Now the force of gravity on the sun is about 28 times.And for the other nutcase who said the flares would go into space well actually they do.And the sun's gravity is what keeps us in place and in orbit.
