The PCI bus is inherently SLOW for 3D graphics acceleration. You should use the x16 PCIe slot of your motherboard. Intel D915GAV, D915GEV, D915GAG and D915GUX have a x16 PCIe slot.
Cheap options= Geforce 8400GS or 8500GT
Better= Geforce 8600GT or GTS and ATI HD2600XT

the form speaks for itself. 7050 to 8600? thats way too far. a 7300gt is 3times below the 8600gt. so think of how powerful the 8600gt is. attempt puuting video games on medium or hgh settings. the 8600 can cope with that... i cnt believe that an 8600 does not carry out properly. thats impossble. What "high quality" are you speaking approximately? is it the vista interface? or video games? if vista laptop, then it would basically strengthen extremely.. in video games, extensive distinction.. and that cant play hd video clips and bluray stuff. the 8600gt can play it easily... or perhaps you dnt have drivers, that would nevertheless overtake your outfitted in graphcs.. extra records: images card have the two a 6pin or 8 pin.. 4pins are molex and used for cd drives.. 8600gt doesnt choose a capacity connector. the 8600GTS does.. yet no longer the 8600gt.. so what 4pin capacity are you speaking approximately?

That Video card is so weak that I'm surprised it even boots your computer... Jeez...
Get a new video card!! They don't cost that much! Get something like an Nvidia 8600GTS or an ATI HD 2600XT.
Go on NewEgg.com. You'll find plenty of stuff on there at awesome prices!
And if you want my opinion, I'd scrap your current computer and build a new one.... sheesh...

well the problem is that your video card is PCI!!!
you need to upgrade your system my friend. even though you have 128 mbs of memory for your card that is far inferior to the 128 mbs of memory on a pci-e card or even an agp card.
check your local retailer for more details on new cards and new systems

you should have installed the driver of the card. are you sure that this video card is a pci? mx4000 that i know uses the agp 8x interface. uninstall the driver that you installed (if you had already installed it) then re-install it. your pc may need reboot. check your card after installation. go to control panel, device manager to verify it.
