when a girl i really dont know well but love to death says "aww your so cute" im 18 is it a good sign or what. she didnt actually say it to me she wrote in my yearbook. she has flirted beforewith me. she doesnt talk to me she isnt shy. she always seems nervous around me like straighting clothes/hair
one of my older friends 25 says she is a party girl and "mischievous" with guys does this effect it. I dont really believe it b/c my friend 25 years old has a grudge with one of her friends any of it b/c she seems incocent. I dont really know her well but she has been pretty flirty with me and she seems shy around me

All I can say is take your sweet time getting to know her.
Hang out with her on a more friendly basis, but don't give your hear to her until you trust her.
That is really what dating is all about... getting to know that other person.
If your friend doens't have anything specific to this girl to report, he needs to keep his yap shut and his nose out of your affairs.

It sounds like you have a few different people telling you that she has a bad reputation. I know you question the motivation of your one friend who has a grudge, but what about your other friends who are warning you about this girl? Do you question their opinion too?
If you want to give it a shot and take it further with this girl, then go for it....but take it slowly and watch for "red flags"
the first red flag that you have is your friends telling you that she has a bad rep....don't ignore too many red flags or you'll be in dangerous waters.

It sounds to me that you need to follow your heart and quit hanging around with people that are so much older than you. Its obvious the girl is interested in you, so talk to her. Ask her out, or just ask her for her number and give her a call. Us girls like to talk on the phone. Keep in mind though that you are your own person and you should do what is right for you. Don't let others make your decisions for you. You need to make up your own mind and make your own mistakes. Life is full of obstacles. If you don't try - you will never know.

Don't believe everything you hear, especially from another girl or a real young guy. Take the time to get to know about her yourself. People assume too much, especially if she is the flirty type.

I honestly think she is just flirting with you. From what you're saying, it just doesnt sound like its anything more than flirting. Unfortunately, girls tend to flirt a lot, even without knowing it. And by saying you're cute, she probably isn't attracted to you, she just thinks you're cute, like a bunny or something lol.
