May be you are worried of 10 minutes video on you tube policy. But I have watched a full movie more than 1 and half hour on you tube.

Any way. If you have a windows open windows movie maker.
import your video. Drag that video on time line. Here you will see video on audio.

Select from where to where you want to cut/copy. After selection cut it and paste to new project by using File tab. Or you can also copy and copy it to new project. Then save the cut or copied video by any name.

I have also heard that we can split longer duration file by using zip soft but I have never tried.

Start, all programs, windows media player should be there, use the editing tools to cut the video, then export it, but i don't see why you have to cut it, you should be able to upload it in one piece, contact customer help on you tube if you are having problems.
