If it is your closest friend, then look again very carefully for the phone. If you can't find it, write her mother a letter, and tell her that you are sorry that your friend lost her phone, and that you have searched the house up and down for it. Tell her that you really miss your friend very much, and that you hope that she will not continue to blame you for the loss of the phone.

Hopefuuly her mother will read the letter, and realize that you would never hurt your friend like that.

If she is ur closest best friend then she would have understood you. But sometimes people get carried away. So give her some time and she will talk to you when she is not angry with you. And about her parents they have some misunderstanding regarding you and that can only be cleared by having a discussion with them.
They are hating you coz they have some misunderstanding regarding you.
Go and clear it and then also if they dont show respect then leave it.

Uhh, First of all, get a grip. If a person's parents hate you for some trivial thing like that, you don't need them as I friend. I'd sever all ties with that person and walk the earth alone like Grasshopper (Cain) from Kung Fu. Heeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhh!

It seems that your friend might have twisted the truth when she told her parents she lost her phone. Honestly, shes not a true friend if she has to blame you for something that was her fault.

Edit: Well, the only thing I could suggest is that you try and make amends with her parents.

your friend probably told her parents you stole it to get out of trouble for losing it. As long as you really dont know where it is, then let her be mad, and you need to get a better best friend.

Your friend probably told her family that you stole it. That's what it seems like.
