Great question!
Here's how I picture a peaceful World.
In the not-to-distant future, and perhaps in our lifetimes, we will be able to travel up a hundred miles, more or less, above the Earth. It has already happened, where a civilian has been offered a "free look" at our Earth, and to be able to experience space flight.
But it costs millions now to do so. There are a few private organizations who are building and testing manned space rockets, who are hoping to be able to provide this service to civilians like you and me, at a lowered cost, like ten-thousand dollars or so. it has actually progressed beyond the speculation stage. They say it will be within reach by 2020 or even earlier!
So, I plan to still be very active that year, and like many, I'm saving for my retirement, so that's on my list of things to see before I die!
And, the way I see it, the only TRUE way to see a peaceful world is to view Planet Earth just as the 'nauts have. Just reach for the heights, higher & higher, until the people all disappear and the planet is in full view, and full motion, before you, as Nature intended.
Ahhh.......Peaceful... Serene... Beautiful... Perfect.....!
How would you describe the sight?

Not much going on with Mercury, Venus is acid rain and carbon monoxide storms, Jupiter is a roilng ball of gas whose gravity would ignite it into a second sun if it were forty times larger, Neptune and Uranus are mostly methane so probably not a lot of sleep to be had there, Mars is cold and lifeless but indications are that it had water flowing across it at one time. Pluto's in a little cat fight with its own moon and Saturns got those rings of ice and rocks that probably cause a lot of havoc. Earth definitely not peaceful, its infested with parasites that are making a mess of its surface. So yeah, I'm gonna go with Mercury.

Webby had a great answer... I love the mornings and time by myself.
But in my mind, I don't see the race of humans ever having true peace. We are too diverse. Or ideals and beliefs will always be butting heads, no matter who comes to power or what happens.

A day of calm, no problems coming up, no crisis.
I know the world itself will never be peaceful, so that is the best I can ask for.
