alright well i normally use YIM,but i have a friend that has msn and cant download YIM so i downloaded it and i have the msn live messenger thing,but when i add her it says shes offline when she really isnt..and i click on her name but it sends me to some compose thing on the msn website.
please help

she cant accept my friends request cuz it wont show anything.
she already tried to add me and i dont get any pop ups either about adding her.

well, the people you add wont appear as online until they accept your invitation to be on your msn list.
ie. if someone adds you on their list, you will get a pop up next time you log on that someone has added you and wants to talk to you. if you accept, you will appear online on their list. if you dont you will not appear online on their list and you will not be able to talk to that person

in case you sign up as look offline, they wont be attentive to which you have signed in till you confer with them! in case you alter your status mutually as signed in, it is going to instruct which you're online!
