make your grocery list in order of how you shop or do you just write it based on what you think of first

Based on what I think of first. And then, I forget the stupid thing at home. Every ******* time.

I check through my fridg, freezer, an pantry to see what I need and make a list from that. Then as I go through the day I add other items as i think of them. It isn't in any order as far as the store layout so I have to look for the items to mark them off.

First I write one of what we need then I rewrite it to have all the things that are in the same area at the store and then I go to the store leaving the damn list at home

I used to just write things down as I thought of them, but now I put things in different groups, so I get everything I need while I'm in each part of the store and don't keep running all over the store.

i do my list on what i think first but in the shop i don't follow the order of the list.
