I get a U/S Friday Oct.26th but just wanna know of some old wives tales to have a lil fun to see what to outcome is...THANKS..and by the way, WHAT DO THEY MEAN WHEN THEY SAY ..Carrying high and Carrying low? i mean how can u tell what is what?? thanksss!

okk well our science teacher did this to us all and was like HAHAHa
she was awesome and apparently it worked
i got three boys all in a row.. lol eww
umm ok get a loong peice of hair and a metal ring or just a normal rounded shaped metalish ring? =P
(did that make sense? )
ok now thread the ring with the string and hold at the ends and hold the ends together so the ring is down the bottom of it
hold out a palm of your left hand so your thumb is on the left.
get the ring nad hold it as still as you can over the middle of your hand
and then it should either swing back and forth in a line .. you have a boy
or go in slight or crazy circles .. you have a girl! =]
i hope this might work
oh and ive no idea what carrying high or low is.. =] sorry,
and PLEASE fill us in if its a girl or a boy!

the "carrying high" and "carrying low" old wives tale is about the shape of your belly. If you watch lots of pregnant ladies, you will see that some babies are held very high in the woman's body, while other are carried very low. The myth is that if your body shape is largest high up, you are supposed to be having a girl. If it's very low, a boy is on the way.
Of course, the truth is, most women start out carrying higher, then closer to the time of birth, the baby begins to drop lower down. So that myth is of no help, is it?

My aunt used to thread a needle and hold it over the palm of the pregnant persons hand. If is swings fast it is a girl if it swings slow it is a boy. The tummy sits high if you are carrying a girl and low if you are carrying a boy - I think that is how it goes. You can tell if a woman's tummy is high or low by looking at it. Is it high up near the breast or is it sagging down towards the lap?

I am carrying low but was high for the first few months. I am craving lots of meat and lots of chocolate ice cream. Not much substance to the wives tales because I'm having a girl. But, I did check the Chinese pregnancy calendar and it worked for me. Guess you have a 50/50 change of it being correct!!

A friend just held a necklace over the palm of my hand. She said if it moves up and down it's a boy and if it moves in a circular motion it's a girl. Well it moved in a circular motion and I am having a girl. Oh and I am carrying low, very low always have so the "how high you carry" is not true.

Supposedly if your stomach looks like the bottom of an egg you are carrying a boy and if it looks like the top of an egg its a girl. But you have to wait until the 5th month before you should do the egg test. If you carry high it's a girl and low is a boy.

carrying high is supposed to mean it's a girl and carrying low is supposed to mean it's a girl no clue what it is reffering to though but it has something to do with holding a chain over their bellys and there's only one tale i know of is that and that's if you sleep on your right side it's a girl and your left it's a boy

I was told if you carry the baby high it is a girl. That means sort of under your breasts, kinda makes it hard to breathe, and low for a boy, which means more in the pelvis area. It was true for me. Good luck, and God Bless!

i've heard that carrying low, which means your bump is really low means that its a boy and carrying high is a girl, also i've heard that if you eat a lot of meat it will be a boy and a lot of vegetables and dairy it will be a girl, that boys are more active in the womb all of this is untrue though, i'm pretty sure :)

My mum says if the baby's heart rate is over 150, it's a girl.
My primary school science teacher told me that if you lose the hair on your legs, it's a boy.
Also, my next door neighbor says that if you need to eat lots of chocolate, it'll be a girl, and if you want lots of ice cream, it'll be a boy.
