I want to know who I am from a strangers point of view; is there a place where i can go or a person who will analyze me? A therapist? But I hear they are expensive, besides I'm a college student so i won't be able to afford them. Any suggestions would be great.

Spend a lot of time alone without any distractions and really get to know yourself. You have to be honest with yourself, and there may be some things you learn about you that you won't even -like- all that much. But once you know who and what you really are, you can start working on the areas you don't like.
And don't worry about what others think. If you -know- the real you, whatever else they may think only points up their lack of perception.

Why do you want to be analyzed? Would it be better for you just to use reflection and examination? This is what you can get through counselling. There is a form of counselling called co-counselling which is free after training and has the great benefit of having a training in counselling yourself.

And why did you ask this in philosophy when it is a psychology or self help question?

Try going to a well known psychic in your area.Check out the local metaphysical or new age book stores for recommendations.

they do have Counselors through churches sometimes...that are either free or go by how much your expenses are. I would call around the phone book.. and check the prices .. just because people say it is expensive doesn't neccessarily mean it is expensive for you.
