I'm constantly doing that to some extent. I believe to do so would take a journey of "stringent, constant self-examination." I listen to those who say; "it can't be done..." then I compare them to the ones "doing it!" Over the years I've gathered information from people that were deemed (in my opinion), as "great", for example, Gandhi, deepak chopra, maya angelo, dr. m. scott peck, m.d., barbaro 'o', dr. king, any many, many, more. I've applied much of what they spoke about to my own life. I've examined my life, I've re-mapped some things that didn't "work", I've been tolerant of others, I've been patient...yet diligent, I've worked on excellent nutrition, and I've put the rubber to the road! See, I was basically a "lost little girl" in this world; (if you can tolerate the stereotype:))) but I refused to give up and against sooooo many odds I pressed on. Instead of remaining "helpless and pitiful", and in a serious position to remain vulnerable, I studied everything that I could--in college and out! I utilized every opportunity I could and now I let people know that they can really achieve some serious things in life if they really want to. Sometimes it may take a little shift in thinking, at other times it may take an entire paradigm shift! Nonetheless, it CAN be done!
Actually, thanks for this question...now I'm motivated to press even further!!!!

I have tried, but I wasn't successful. I ended up liking the person I was before. But a friend of mine in middle school reinvented herself to the point where she had a different laugh in high school, and it worked for her.

I tried to be a motivated morning person when I started college. It didn't work and I was late to all my classes. I never should have thought it was that easy to change who I am.

Yes, I'll get this idea of a new outlook or some such thing and then for a while I'll have it on my mind constantly but eventually I get lazy and go back to just being ME.
