We must place the x on the left side of the equal sign and numbers on the right. When we move the sign from the right side of the equal sign to the left side, we change the sign.

Lets solve
10x - 4 - 5x = 6 + 3x - 8
10x - 5x - 3x = 6 - 8 + 4

See what we did, we changed the -4 to a +4 when we moved it to the other side of the equal sign. Same with 3x.

2x = -2 + 4
2x = 2
x = 1

10x – 4 – 5x = 6 + 3x – 8 First, we would desire to transpose. this implies which you're able to circulate all like words on one side. in this equation we would desire to circulate all the words with "x" and all the numerals.once you transpose a sort form one side to a distinctive, the sign adjustments. enable us to start. 10x-5x-3x=6+-8+4 ( + beside - is likewise -) I transfered 3x to the different side so it grew to develop into -3x. comparable with -4 = 4 on the different side. in case you have become at a loss for words, enable us to try this one via one. 10x – 4 – 5x = 6 + 3x – 8 (First choose for 3x) 10x-4-5x-3x=6-8 (Then for the form 4) 10x-5x-3x=6-8+4. we've got: 10x-5x-3x=6-8+4 integrate like words on the two aspects: 1st: 10x-5x-3x. initiate with the two negatives. (-5x and -3x) which will develop into -8x. Then proceed: 10x-8x=2x 2d: the two positives: 6 and four= 10 So, 10-8 is two. For the different side we've: 2x And the different: 2 So, 2x=2 the x might desire to be remoted. and to try this, you're able to desire to divide the two aspects via 2. 2x/2=2/2 (2x/2 cancel the two 2 and a pair of/2 is a million, subsequently leaving us with x and a million) the respond is: x=a million

Solve: 10x-4-5x=6+3x-8
First combine like terms (10x-5x & 6-8): 5x-4=3x-2
Next get your x's and numbers to one side by doing the opposite(subtract 3x & add 4 to both sides of the =): 2x = 2
Last solve for x (2/2): x= 1

ANSWER: x = 1

Solve for X:

10x-4-5x = 6+3x-8
5x-4=3x-2 (distribute all numbers you can)
2x=2
x=1

10x-4-5x=6+3x-8

5x - 4 = -2 + 3x

2x = 2

x = 1

10(1) - 4 - 5(1) = 6 + 3(1) - 8

10 - 4 -5 = 6 + 3 - 8

10 - 9 = 9 - 8

1 = 1

10x - 4 - 5x = 5x - 4
6 + 3x - 8 = 3x - 2
5x - 4 = 3x - 2
5x - 3x = 4 - 2
2x = 2
x = 1
