=(7/6) . (2/7)

= 2/6

=1/3

oops! looked at it wrong

change the mixed numbers into improper fractions then flip the second fraction and multiply the two together

1 1/6 = 1*6+1 = 7/6

31/2 = 3*2+1 = 7/2

7/6 / 7/2 = 7/6 * 2/7

= 14/42 (reduce to get 1/3)

change to improper fraction by multiplying the denominator by the whole number and add the numerator, then get the reciprocal of your divisor and multiply:

(7/6)(2/7)=2/6 or 1/3
