You are either interpreting your experience positively, which would give you (at least temporarily) a sense of happiness. Or you have mastered neutrality and objective detachment in your interpretation of input. However interpreting this state of equanimity couldn't truthfully be called "feeling good," since there is a judgment containing "feeling bad" hidden within the "feeling good". Equanimity is absolutely extraordinary on every level, but it is also absolutely ordinary and natural. It is who you ARE without the nonsense.
If a newfound state of equanimity is the reason for your good feelings, be sure to not become attached to those feelings. The newness of enlightenment WILL fade and everything will then seem very ordinary again. Sometimes, this let down - and grief that comes from "losing" the blissy feeling of newness - creates a veil even thicker than the one preceding it!
Enlightenment is not a feeling. When the good feeling passes away, as everything must in a temporary world, let it go and allow whatever comes in to take its place. Enlightenment is the house master and the feelings are the guests. YOU aren't going anywhere (even when you're sleeping you are home =))

Because you're living in accord with your basic selfs beliefs and values. No magic, that's just the way it works.
