I had a 86 Oldsmobile almost the same thing and I wish I still had that car it drove like a dream. We used to call it our "limo" my kids called it the "grandma mobile" the transmission went out in it but it was great on gas it was an a 1986 Oldsmobile 88 Regency Broughm it was beauty! I miss it. now I have a 1995 Buick Park Ave. and I want to get the other car fixed!

I don't care for Lincolns after 1974. I like the 1973/1974 Custom Mark 3 Coupe. Designed by George Barris.

it's a tank - my mother in law has like a 76 lincoln town car that they bought in like 1977 or so - and she still drives the car all the time.
30 years later...

How thick is your wallet? They have a large cubic inch motor and suck down gas like a dragon. Mine had the large engine and I averaged nine to twelve miles per gallon. They ride nice and that is all that I will say about the car.
