my wife died last year, but we did IVF and we still have fertilized embryos so there's still a chance that OUR CHILDREN can still be born. but surrogacy costs like a quarter of a million dollars or so most of it is legal fees and I'm on SSDI (disability) and I don't have that kind of money. but I'm not an idiot and I can probably do much of the legal work myself. Do you really have to be a lawyer to do all this? why?

OR if you do have to really have a lawyer -then how can a person on SSDI come up with the money to have this done. it's obviously a big deal to me. I"m determined to do this. And I don't know anyone that can help me. I don't know anyone with any money.

I've never done any work on this (in my country, you can't do surrogacy for cash), but I'll tell you one thing - every case I've ever done has needed plenty of research from costly databases like Quicklaw, Westlaw, or LAO online. Law offices have precedents that they've developed over decades, and I use them frequently.

I just can't imagine how you could even begin to write the contracts yourself, not to mention research the insurance caselaw and settle property and custodial issues. It involves property, insurance, health, tort, and family law. I understand you're on disability, but I can't even imagine a person starting from scratch on a surrogacy matter, especially if you have no access to legal research materials. And for something so important, I wonder whether trying to do so would be a recipe for disaster.

Is there anyone in your family who would be willing to act as surrogate? That might simplify the process.

I hope for your sake, I'm wrong. Good luck.

In the US wherein i reside, it's authorized to have a surrogate father or mother supply your little one (of your husband and your self) so long as they're inclined to endure the implantation method. It charges plenty of cash and so they ought to signal papers which states they have to supply you the little one upon delivery. The little one could no longer be involving her however she could be it is delivery mom, well-nigh giving the little one 2 moms. Whether or no longer you selected to have this lady to your lifestyles is as much as you, however being your childs delivery mom she's going to consistently be a side of your childs lifestyles. (If it have been me, I'd desire to understand who gave me lifestyles, would not you?) I have no idea approximately the legality in England, nevertheless it works over right here. Rich men and women do it always.
