I think I might have seen a young flamingo in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada. Do flamingoes live in this area?

Um, no... flamingos do not live in Canada. If it was a flamingo it could have been a "pet" that had escaped. However chances are due to the body shape it was something along the lines of a stork, egret or heron. My guess would be a species of heron.
