IT hasn't happened to me but I know people get angry and say things and then live to regret them. always say good things to your loved ones before parting whether it is to sleep, work, school etc

very true Miranda and no matter how bad your parents were there is always that sense of loss when they are gone. when my dad died on my birthday 9 years ago I cried not for the loss of him but because now I knew he could never be the dad I always needed him to be

I never say things like that because when I left for uni, I didn't really take the time to tell my mother I loved her, etc.; I was in such a hurry to get there that I just said a very hasty goodbye and I hadn't been there a week when they called me and told me she had died. I'll never get over that feeling of shock and regret and now, if I love someone I let them know everytime I leave them because I'm painfully aware that any time I say goodbye it could be the last time I ever see them.

No but I thought about it and it happened. Don't ever wish death upon somebody and if you do say something that you think you will regret take it back and apologize to that person even if they didn't hear you. Start being nice to them. I mean, we're all in this world together and the end of the world doesn't seem like it is coming any time soon so we might as well try and get along.

Keep your loved ones close even your enemies.

Say I love you to your family even if there is no right time, wait for their birthday or a holiday to write "I love you" on a card if you have trouble verbally saying it. That's how I said it to my dad when he died when I was 14 and that was the only time I said it. I drew him a picture when I was little and I wrote I love you on it. So now I have no regrets.

I was fighting with my dad and as I got a phone call to meet him at the hospital I said I wish the bastard would croak... Three hours later I was calling my extended family nine hours away to tell them my dad had a massive heart attack and did not make it... At the age of 44 NEVER DO THIS I always tell my husband i love him even if he's going across the street cuz you don't know what will happen....

They are just words. I wished a guy dead back in high school and they did die that following weekend. I regret his death but still the guy was a jerk to me and a wanker to most others. Sure you say things in the heat of the moment, but its not like you killed that person or lead them to the events of death.

No, I've never had that happen to me before. Your point is well taken though. .leave those you love with kind words as it may be the last time you will see them before they're gone from this life.

Not to that extent.

My mom's husband and I have a very bad relationship. I used to say things like "I wish that bastard gets hit by a car" a lot ... and he eventually did.

I didnt feel too bad cuz i hated him lol... and yeah he lived

no!! omg that'd be horrible!!!!
i don't like people who take things for granted
that's my bugaboo ;) (yes that is a word!! i love it .. it's a cute way to say 'pet peeve')

i would hate to live my life in regret or wondering what would have happened if i did/didn't do this or that.
that'd be horrible
i agree with you about saying good things to your loved ones.
you don't know what you got till it's gone :)

No. because I'm not that big of a dick. But it ever comes to the point where i want someone to actually die. Then, its probably for the best that they did. Lets just say, if idiots didn't go around doing stupid **** and ending up killing themselves. Then it would be a world full of your typical degenerate, inconsiderate, obese, and ****** up, Americans.
