Conglomerates are sedimentary rocks that are grouped / categorized according to grain sizes. These sizes can include boulders, pebbles, and gravel. The larger grains are held together within a matrix of much smaller usually sand-sized particles. These main categories can then be sub-grouped according to the shapes of the grains that the conglomerate contains -- rounded, angular, etc.
