Well, it depends on a few WHAT ??
Most times when people say "Give me a few seconds." - its more like a minute, which is many seconds in my book.
A few years to me is 3 to 5. Anything over 5 is several, a half dozen, a decade, etc. The same applies to money. A few dollars is anything less than $5.
A few people, especially if you're inviting them to your house, can be any number over 3, up to about a dozen.
I guess I need more clarification.

It depends on what the unit is.
A few inches or hours is 3, whereas a few minutes or a few dollars is usually about 7 for me.
