My dog never barks at people that just walks around but when the mail man comes then she starts barking at him crazy, do mail man have dogs?

I am sure they do, Mail men are scared to get bit, and dogs can smell that I think. plus mail men just kinda come right up in your yard, I dont think dogs like that.

the mail man is a person the dog sees every day and is, every day, crossing into your dogs territory. So, it's more of a threat because it's a repeated action.

I think it's because they go into or atleast near you're yard to deliver the mail, and that makes dogs excited

canine are very conserving over their territory, and for some canine that contains the mailbox. My canine (a German shepherd/Chow combination) would not strategies the mailman, yet she easily hates the united statesdelivery guy with a fondness. He would not even ought to stop at our homestead, all he has to do is force the truck down our highway and my canine loses her strategies. And if he easily comes as much as the door to offer a equipment... nicely, all hell breaks loose to assert the least!

because mail men have smells of other dogs on them from walking through other yards and other dogs being petted and jumping on him...I would think....makes sense....
