I noticed that a majority of people at the dance clubs put their hands in the air with their armpits in full view(especially females with sleeveless outfits or males wearing dress shirts and armpit sweat stains) anyway, then they rotate their hips repeatedly and slightly bend and move their legs as if they are hula-hooping.men & women do this a lot.do you? is that your signature move, too? doesn't it get boring? is this hula-hooping dance style trendy in your area? the only guys that seem to have hot dance moves are the black males or male breakdancers.are some people born with natural dancing abilities while others stick with a specific dance style that they think they're good at and do it forever? I was wondering whether you mostly hula-hoop at the nightclub or have actual distinctive moves? if so, name/describe how you dance that particular dance style-move in your own experiences or any hot or weird dance moves that you've seen other people doing? thanks.

I was not born without any dancing talent. I remember in 6th grade my class had to do a choreographed dance to Jane Jackson's Escapade. I was the nerdy one of the bunch, and I remember the girls laughing at me when they say me try to do the moves.
I really started getting into dancing back in '97. I went to a goth-type club that played stuff like NIN, Suzie and the Banshees, Prodigy, Apotheosis, etc.

My style was pretty much my feet spread a little farther apart than shoulder width and my upper body kinda just bobbing forward with the beat. Man, that's kinda funny when I think about it. That's where it all started though.

After a few years, it just evolved and I would learn from other people by watching them. I also made friends with a crew of of both guys and girls that are phenomenal dancers. I developed a lot of different techniques there too. That's when I got into DJing and the real party/rave scene and it was a phenomenal time. I really like liquid, boxes, break-dancing, and a mix of other styles.

There are probably videos out there of people these kinds of styles out there. I know recently on Yahoo's front page there was mention of a new wave hitting Paris and Europe called "techtronic" or something. I looks pretty cool, but a little oldschool for what my buddies and I have been doing for the past 7 years.

I don't do the "hoola hoop" dance, and haven't really noticed too many people dancing like that here in Tucson, AZ. Then again, I go to clubs that play more house, progressive, and general techno rather than rap and hip-hop.

Oh, yeah, and I am not black. ;-) My buddy Titus was half black though and probably one of the best dancers I have ever known in my life. Actually, besides him though, all the other guys and girls in my crew were white. People always thought we were paid performers at parties. Those were the days!

As a white male that never practices my dancing skills I am lucky if I get my hips to full hula-hoop movement. Yes I do find it stupid and boring but if a pretty girl is dancing with me I don't care.

LOL and that was once simply in my minivan. however my SUV particularly rocks. now not into line dancing, cannot pay adequate concentration to preserve up with the entire steps edit: and honestly kitchen dancing is excellent, the ones home windows can vibrate too, dwelling base for the tunes, LOL
